Got a cargo trike from an individual. Needed new tires, so we contacted the maker, Bike Bug in Houston. Ordered 3 NEW wheels with tires. Arrived poking out of the cardboard wrapper used as a shipping box. Dented rims. Broken/bent wheel spokes. Contacted Bike Bug. No problem, must have been damaged in shipping, we'll send more. New ones arrived in a worse excuse for a box than first. Dents on the wheels. Bent rims. Husband said we should take what we have to the local bike store and see if they can salvage something usable from these damaged parts. NO! We bought new tires and wheels, we should have new tires and wheels! Drove 160 miles to get some new ones. Still had to pick from the "new" ones he was about to ship off to other customers. Had to get a couple wheels and pull tires and tubes from other rims because some tires were rotted and split and all rims were dented and dinged. Wish I knew another place to get decent wheels that fit that trike. Mike and Bike Bug might be great for adding motors to your bike or dealing in used/damaged parts. That's great if that's what we were looking for, but we weren't. We wanted the new parts they advertised.
