Staff, doctors and nurses are fantastic. I just wasn't able to sleep throughout the night because nursing staff kept coming in and out of my room all night long. The place is great though.
Good hospital. One place for all your health needs. Good daytime nurses. Night shift nurse assigned to us was not so friendly. She took care however if she had done with smile then it would have been much better.
The whole system sucks. I had my mother bleeding from 1:30 am until she basically clogged and couldn't bleed anymore which was up to 6:30 am. First hospital was in summerwood the nurses did nothing to come and help up keep her clean, transferring her took forever no updates on when the doctor was showing up. We thought he was already in southwest but he wasn't yet when we arrived he didn't get paged again until the emergency doctor came to see her. I told the nurse when we were going to see the doctor (kinda upset at this time, I even apologized in advanced if I sounded rude) explained that she had been bleeding and up to this point about one and half pints of blood. She proceeded to tell me if I didn't like it that the door was open and that we could leave... Her name was Nicole. I didn't even said anything at this point. Needless to say we ended up leaving at 11 am just for them to put a packing in her nose and clean the clogs... I even thought she might go into surgery...
Dealt with an incredibly condescending and sarcastic doctor in emergency care. He laughed when I answered his question about medical problems by saying I get heart palpitations when I have even a little caffeine, and said "oh, don't we all," insinuated that I was being anxious over nothing despite the fact that I had swelling, and made other sarcastic jokes. Telling someone you don't think their symptoms require emergency care is one thing, but being sarcastic and condescending from the get-go is another. Rudest service I've ever received at a hospital.
Has to be the worst hospital in America. Was taken there as the result of very painful ear ache on a plane. BP 218/119. Having experienced that on a flight I was transported via paramedic. The ER nurse sarcasm when informed of my symptoms (ear pain and stroke level) NO, the ER nurse said sarcastically "ear pain?" Then they stuck in the lobby about 20 minutes in the lobby then took me to a room. BP kept escalating. After about 45 minutes they gave me 2 tylonols and sent me home with NO still 200+/100+ I am not from Boston so I didn't know what else to do. I know one thing unless I am DOA I don't ever want to go to that hospital again.
