The valet parking employees are Incredibly terrible. I came with my wife and family for a maternity tour and the employee was so rude to us. He had a terrible attitude and I'll be damned if my wife was going into labor and let down by the absolute worst valet parking in history.

This is a very nice hospital! Care is the top concern, especially for children. They have a great team of trained Child Life Specialists that work at minimizing the physical pain and mental trauma that a child goes through while they're in the hospital. Staff, keep up the good work!

But you don't feel comfortable providing such sensitive info that they truly do not require. I would extremely love for someone at the hospital to state that a SSN is required to be treated or that a SSN is required for verifying insurance. Where o where do the billing people learn to state such falsehoods, it's from the hospital training!

I wish a class action would be filed so I could join it to stop the hospitals the from "bullying" people to provide none essential information. (Again...this was after supplying ID, insurance card, etc) It just urks me when the hospital says things like "we can't verify you health insurance without your SSN!!!!" and "we REQUIRE this to treat you." Is it wrong to get frustrated with these types of situations?

Third and finally, after you have been cared for, I feel something is not right, not respectful, nor humane, for the "billing" department to "rush" in without giving you a chance to put your clothes on, so they can collect billing info. It reminds me of "bullying." After providing someone you ID, insurance card, email, phone number, additional contact, and whatever else they need, they then go for the Social Security Number. This is where it becomes stressful and possibly traumatic when you are trying not to get into an argument for health concerns. When you tell the hospital you don't feel comfortable providing this info and they respond by saying "we NEED your Social Security number." You ask why. They say, "it is REQUIRED to verify your insurance." And "it is just policy to get that information"

Therefore, in conclusion, If the entry and exit from the hospital was not so awful, I would have provided a good review.

Crappiest ER EVER!!!! I don't even know where to start! My daughter is literally passing out from dizziness in the main waiting area and they haven't even batted an eye! They are begging for a freaking lawsuit!! I'd be better off at a county hospital for my daughter!!

I am wondering if this could be a health concern to do this to people while they are undergoing a health issue. The fact you have to argue about this in a confrontational manner and the hospital billing won't let up! This is very unhealthy to me.

My first time here I experienced three things I feel are concerning. First, the hospital condones valet charges of 16.50. Is it borderline taking advantage of those in need of care? It's even worse with Houston still recovering from Hurricane Harvey.

Second, the public parking garage is far away with little to no signage directing you once parked to the critical hospital locations. I suppose if you have been here before and YOU know the way, then who cares about the signs for the first timers, they will just have to figure out when they are most in need.

I am extremely disappointed with Children's Memorial hospital. After taking our 2 year old son to the E.R. Three times in 2 weeks they failed to give us a diagnosis on what was causing his fever(up to 105.7f), cough and heavy breathing. It is ridiculous that a highly rated hospital did not do its job. They should have ran ALL the test possible to determine what was exactly wrong with him. All that was said was the he had a "virus." It was a nightmare not knowing what was wrong with my child. I strongly recommend NOT taking your child here.
