I had major surgery at this facility and was extremely pleased with the staff. Everyone was friendly and attentive to my needs and eager to make my stay as comfortable as possible. They are very caring, clean and professional. I have not been to many hospitals where I feel they truly care about their patients but this one does. They also followed up with me after I came home. I can not say enough about them. I highly recommend it
I have no words..I will never ever come back to this hospital ever ever ever again. And may GOD have mercy on all there souls. If i can rate lower then 1 star I would.
Be careful!!! Houston Methodist St John Hospital contracts with emergency room physicians which may be out-of-network for your insurance company even though the hospital itself is in-network. You will not be advised of this prior to receipt of their bill and may be liable for out-of-network costs. In my case, my insurance company abeled the emergency physician's bill as fraudulent because several required items were not submitted. Definitely not the kind of quality patient experience to which Houston Methodist aspires.
My mother has an L3 compression fracture. she isn't able to eat. cant move from sitting to standing to laying. these people what kind of cold hearted human beings are you not giving my mother treatment because she didn't have insurance. YOU people knew when you were admitting her! Your financial lady even said they would get 50% off for self paying patients! YOU didn't give her any kind of kindness! Yes my mother is Asian but she is a freaking citizen she don't live off the damn government. She is and has always been a housewife. I GUARANTEE if she was an old white lady she would still get treated and service with the utmost care! Trust me METHODIST I WILL BE LOOKING INTO AN ATTORNEY TO SUE YOUR STUPID RACIST HOSPITAL! YOU BETTER BE LUCKY I EVEN GAVE YOU ONE STAR! I DIDN'T HAVE A CHOICE TO GIVE ZERO STAR! YES I WISH YOUR PEOPLE WOULD CONTACT ME ABOUT THIS INHUMAN TREATMENT OF MY MOTHER!
My ER visit was a nightmare in regards to my pain but the staff was very pleasant and comforting. I was seen immediately and diagnosed properly. The nurses were amazing and my plan of care was promptly established to be referred for further care. The Sports Medicine Dept is superb too!!
