If you are made out of money and like getting the run around, this is the place!!

Dr. Brown, Dr. Taylor, Cat, and all the wonderful staff at Blue Pearl Willowbrook helped save my Jack Russel, Zoey's life. She had eaten part of a tennis ball (something overlooked by my primary vet) and they found it/were able to surgically remove it from her small intestine. Today, a few weeks later, Zoey is doing wonderfully and has healed up nicely. Although she will no longer be getting tennis balls.. !Thank you to all at Blue Pearl you have been amazing and I appreciate your fantastic customer service to me and my pup.

They helped my dog.

We needed an emergency veterinarian two evenings after Hurricane Harvey made landfall. We were calling around town and a different vet's phone service transferred us to BluePearl. They were very helpful on the phone - giving us directions, explaining how to navigate around the closed roadways. We managed to arrive without incident. Despite the fact that the staff had been there since Saturday (this was Monday night - they had been there without relief for 2 or 3 days), they were friendly, prompt, and very understanding. We were seen by Dr. Brown - a very fast talker, but a woman who knows her stuff. She gave us our options - I had to repeat them back to her to be sure that I understood - and she was able to estimate prices on the spot. She also assured me that no decision was a wrong decision, that they would remain open and if I needed to I could bring my dog back for more treatment. My dog was examined, x-rayed, had blood drawn, and all results were explained to me. I received a care sheet and medication and I left feeling like appropriate care had been shown to me and my dog. Five stars.

I could write about friendliness of staff, attention to detail, ease of billing et al; the only thing that really counts is that they fixed my dog. We had some significant health concerns, they set my expectations in the right place and then my dog checked out a day later and was back to himself in no time. I like this place.

I would like to mention that the receptionists here are phenomenal, kind and friendly. Maybe Dr Brown could learn a thing or two from them...

After spending around $3k on bandage changes, medications, consultations, X-rays, etc. over the course of 8 weeks, Dr Brown showed us absolutely no bedside manners. She informed us (AFTER taking X rays) that she couldnt confirm whether the toe was healed because she didn't have the original X Ray. Really would have been great to know I needed that prior to my arrival... But that's only after she informed us that by letting our dog out of her crate for three hours a day has caused her toe to not heal properly, although she never put pressure on the cast when she hobbled to and from her mat. We expressed this to her and her response was that due to the "vibration" of her hobbling, the toe hasn't healed, but again she couldn't give a conclusive answer because she didn't have the original X ray. She suggested we take these X rays to the vet that took the original X rays so they could determine if her toe was healed.....

My sweet girl got groomed yesterday and the groomer put cotton balls in her ears to keep the water out but one became lodged deep in her ear canal. I took her to blue pearl this morning to get it out as it was really bothering her and I couldn't help her. The staff was so nice and they were able to get it out in less than a minute! They didn't charge me since it was such a quick and easy fix. I will recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be back if my dog needs emergency vet care. Thank you so much blue pearl!
