I am so glad I came across this practice. Having a vet that cares, that is warm and understanding, that spends the necessary time to explain the procedures makes a huge difference. Veterinary care is expensive, i know, but if you are going to spend money, do it with someone that cares. I am glad I did find Dr. Jimenez, you now have a new lifetime patient.
As an added benefit, Best Care is open from 7 AM - 7 PM Monday through Saturday, and they'll let you drop your pet off and pick up later, if needed. Best Care offers wellness plans that cover unlimited office visits, annual teeth cleanings, certain tests, vaccinations, etc. plus a discount on anything that is not covered. We've purchased wellness plans for our pets, which has really helped to keep the costs down with our two senior pets. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Jimenez and the staff at Best Care Animal Hospital. I highly recommend them and wouldn't bring our pets anywhere else.

Dr. Jimenez has been our family's vet for three dogs and a cat, and he is an incredible veterinarian. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate, and he does not push unnecessary tests like some vets do. He's also very attentive and asks great questions to try to fully understand what may be contributing to symptoms you've observed with your pet. Our prior vet had completely missed that our senior cat had become diabetic, and Dr. Jimenez picked up on signs pointing to this on the very first visit. He was also recently a lifesaver to our 18 year old Terrier mix who had developed acute pancreatitis and has been a true partner in every step of her recovery.
Finding and trusting your veterinarian is as important as finding and trusting your own good doctor. After recently relocated to Houston, I tried one vet close to home. She was the most cold, impersonal vet I ever visited. No wonder she is out of business now, which prompted me to find a new vet.
I just recently took my puppy there to be neutered. I Can not say enough good things about the Dr. Jimenez Or his staff. I have used different vets over the years but never felt so comfortable leaving my puppy there. They are all caring and it shows by how they care for the animals. Dr. Jimenez is just great takes time to make sure you understand the procedure or findings.
As a neighbor this place is disappointing. I have no idea about their handling of animals, but their clean up of them is horrendous. They walked the pets in the back alleyway and constantly leave behind dog feces. It's annoying and gross. Should be a violation of their lease. Will look into.
