I just got off the phone with them now and the person who picked up the phone for them was very rude. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I can see what type of business this is like with first call customers service was rude. I will for sure pick another company to go with for my roof.
Two weeks later I noticed some new damage to one of the repaired eaves and, after calling Larry, the damage was repaired free of charge. Larry even added some metal flashing to make sure we didn't have problems with the spot in the future.
Our Roof sprung a leak during Hurricane Harvey and like many Houstonian's we called ASAP Roofing who we had previously used before because of their respectful, timely and efficient work. We hoped to get our roof assessed and repaired as needed and understood the gravity of work that was getting dumped onto ASAP employees. When the day of the appointment came employee showed up in a huff, he slammed the doors going in and out of the house and had one heck of an attitude as he said everything was "fixed" and bolted off. Fast forward to weekend of 10/ 21-10/22 Houston received some more rain. With that said I checked the same spot we found the leak at during Harvey and gave ASAP Roofing another call. The appointment day came and I had my neighbor and mother talk to them as I was at work. They said the roof was fine and the leak was coming from the water heater vent (which was installed after their original roof install) and suggested we get company who installed the water heater to come back and examine and or replace the gasket around the vent. We took their suggestion and had the company come out inspect and fix the gasket. That same company then suggested that the roofing company ASAP Roofing, come back out and make sure the shingles are in order as they noticed some where loose. Now today is 10/25/2017 at 1:48pm and at 1:06pm I called ASAP roofing to relay this information and schedule an appointment out. I called and left a voicemail as I figured they were at lunch. At 1:09pm I receive a phone call back from ASAP roofing asking what I needed. I explained to them that we had found a leak over the past weekend and that they came out earlier this week (Monday 10/23) examined it and suggested the water heater company come out to examine and to repair their work. I proceeded to tell them that we had that done and that the water heater company suggested they come out and make sure the shingles are fine. He replied with, “We were out there Monday and I told your mother and which she did not understand but you had the water heater installed after the installation of the roof, so the water heater company needs to come check this out” I replied with, “I know” and reiterated my reason for calling. The man I was speaking to replied with, “so you want us to come back out?” I replied with, “yes” he then followed up with, “Well, I can get (Said employee’s name) out there when he’s in the area”. Now after my first experience with this employee which was at Harvey appointment, I didn’t feel right having him there with my mother as I would have been at work and his attitude problem. So I asked if he could send somebody else, his response was, “he’s (Job Title), who do you want me to send?” I simply replied with, “somebody who is not an inconsiderate and rude, the first time he was here he was slamming doors and huffing and puffing around.” This man then proceeded to blame his boss’s actions on the events of Hurricane Harvey. I interjected with, “Are you making excuses for your boss?” he shuddered and “told him we are done, have a nice day.” and hung up. Now I get it Harvey has gone above and beyond in stressing out a LOT of people and continues to do so but there are MUCH better ways of handling your stressor than taking it out on your customers who are willing to pay for repairs and who praised your work. My issue is the piss poor attitude and lack of respect for customers and their property and with that said I will not be recommending ANYONE to this company.
I noticed a small stain in my ceiling and, thinking it was caused by a backed up AC drain, called an AC guy to clear the drains. AC guy couldn't find a problem but suggested I contact a roofer to check a nearby roof vent. I called ASAP and two other companies and ASAP gave me the best price BY FAR.
We have used them for years for a commercial building and our home. They are responsive, very good prices, and stand by their work. They replaced the entire roof at my home and building and we are very satisfied.
I was very pleased with the cost and quality of service and have already recommended ASAP to neighbors looking into similar repairs.
ASAP sent Larry out to replace the vent and also repair a few damaged eaves. While he was at my house, another contractor damaged an awning while pressure washing and Larry repaired this section for a minimal fee...basically the cost of materials and a little time.
