This was a life saver for us... SO convenient ...didn't have to worry about being late for appointments driving through Houston traffic.. They want you to be comfortable here and your only thoughts to have is why you are there. They take care of the rest! The gardens outdoors are gorgeous... and so relaxing, a nice get away from our fears and worries! I cannot say enough good about this place! ALL the STAFF - are some of the nicest and kindest people you will ever meet, and SUPER helpful I cannot forget! They treat you like you are real family...
This is the most amazing place to come unwind from a day in MD Anderson. Great that families can have a comfortable place to sleep after sitting with loved ones suffering through chemo and radiation treatments all day. Wonderful staff, luxurious rooms, and A+ food. Highly recommend.
For those who are receiving treatment at MD Anderson, this is by far the most convenient place to stay. Always full. Terrific food. Wonderful staff. Spotless rooms. A chance to meet people from all over the world. Having stayed there many times with my wife (the patient), I recommend Rotary House as a caring home away from home. It is for patients and families.
They seem to know without saying why most guests are there and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable as they can. A hello here, a smile there goes a long way in making a bad day at the hospital a bit better.
Went to restaurant for lunch with two others. Service was slow, food was bland. Tasted like most of my entree was premade and all the kitchen did was plate it.
We've been staying there almost exclusively since my (Gary) run in with Metastatic Melanoma in 2004. The hotel, its restaurant and amenities are great but it's the people that make the difference! The whole staff including the first who greet you when you arrive, the front desk, blood center, information center, and many others have to be the friendliest and most accommodating people I have ever met!
