This is a small quiet place. No frills or pool. Just off the main drag, it's set back off on a quiet street. Now the rooms are huge! Great for patients of MDA, Children's hospital, etc and their families to stay while getting treatments or surgeries. They offer suites with kitchens that are great! They owners and staff of this hotel are awesome and so helpful! It is one of the best places we've stayed in Houston! Quiet, comfy, and the right price! Can't bet that in this city!
If ANYTHING needs fixing , expect to wait a minimum of three days if they even decide to fix it at all (even a simple light bulb). The towels are in very short supply and are all very thin and worn out. Good luck with getting a parking spot. The housekeeping ladies talk badly about the guests and create problems with the front desk and the guests. One lady yelled in my face refusing to clean my room when I asked just for a sweep because I wouldn't leave my room with my dog. I understand if you are scared of dogs but there was no need to rudely yell in my face and get me hyped up.
The perfect home away from home. Each room had a full kitchen with stove. The desk staff was very friendly, and the AC was nice in cool. Located 3 minutes from everything, as well they offered a free shuttle service to anywhere within 3 minutes of the hotel.
Door didn't lock. Floor tiles uneven, missing grout, and wobbly. During our stay a MASSIVE leak erupted, soaking the floor and bathroom, and it took more than 16 hours to have the situation looked at, let alone addressed. I was up every 90 minutes pouring out buckets of water that continued to fall so that the room wouldn't flood. They refused to offer a refund or discount and even tried to deny any reward points earned. I've never felt so violated and degraded in my life.
I cannot go on about how clean and comfortable this location was. I was surprised to see a kitchenette was included. Everyone you saw spoke and was very courteous and helpful. The parking was a little snug but we had a spot to park in. The breakfast had the Texas waffles that was a big hit with my grandchildren. Very nicely done. We are certain to stay the next time we are in Houston.
