So sad what has become of Venezuela. This is the only consulate I have ever heard of that does not answer the phone when you call them and has no way to talk to a human over the phone. I feel sorry for any detainees that need immediate assistance. I even tried calling the 800 number they give for detainees and nobody answered that number either. Sad!
Renovar el pasaporte venezolano es realmente una odisea y demasiado estresante, el proceso es caotico y sin precedentes. Mas sin embargo, tengo q reconocer q el trato en la embajada es muy bueno, las senhoras son muy respetuosas y tratan de ayudar lo mas q pueden. Tratemos de ponernos en los zapatos de los empleados de la embajada y reconozcamos la labor que hacen, ellos tratan de ayudarnos cuando el caos es provocado por factores ajenos a ellos y simplemente ellos nos dan las malas noticias. Tratemos de ser conscientes y agradecidos cuando usamos los servicios consulares.
