But the most impressive part of our experience was the helpful nature of the staff. They are very courteous and definitely try their best to help you. Everyone from the folks at the front desk to the staff who process your requests at the consular hall, all of them were quite helpful. Overall my wife and I were quite pleased with our experience at the Consulate.

In addition, the counselor who verified the documents is also very friendly and ensures that all the documents are available. Overall one of the best experiences at any consulates.
My wife and I visited the embassy in July 2017 for getting some documents attested. It was a very smooth process and we got the work done quickly. The consulate is set up for efficiently processing your requests. The website clearly lays out the things you need to carry with you and what you can expect at the consulate.
Also like that the staffs speak in Hindi, reminds me of home.

Very friendly staff and work was completed on time. The consulate general of India came out and greeted us to identify what services were needed
There could be some improvements. They have implemented a token system, but they always ask for who is next. It gives a feeling that they are not in control. Since the number of people are low, it works, but having a token display would be nice. Also, the employees deserve better computer screens than those 15-17'' monitors.
The website needs to be cleaner as well. We don't expect the embassy website to share so much information. Just focus on the services you provide and make the document requirement lists clear and concise.
