The people where awesome. The reason nobody answer's is cause the that's not the right number and you can go to the office without a appointment they will help you.
I can just say, compared to how it was years ago it has gotten better. I was able to call after lunch time around 1:30 pm and was able to get a hold of them in 10 min on hold (not bad really expected worst). I was able to set my appointment for my passport renewal. The call even disconnected the first time and was able to call back and get another person in the same amount of time. I was impressed. Please use the number that Google provides for them not the one on their website.
