The people working at this park are very heartless. With the catastrophic effects from hurricane Harvey they are only concerned with making money. We are from Louisiana and I got a reservation for a month because my 5 year old daughter was going to have major surgery (her kidney removed) August 29 at Texas children's hospital and I Thought this would be the perfect place for her recovery in our camper because the hospital is right down the road incase for some reason she needed to go back to the hospital. (We live 4 hours away). We were able to drop our camper off Friday August 25 but unfortunately hurricane Harvey forced us to return to Louisiana and now the Louisiana/Texas state line is closed due to massive flooding and evacuations. I got an email from the park stating that "Harvey is gone, we are back in business, no flooding, we want to welcome our guests back". So I called the park to see if i could get some of our money back or get a credit for the park and the man on the phone sounds very aggressive and is making claims that it's not the parks problem that I'm not able to get to the park cause of road closures and I should just take another route. The problem with taking another route is that I would have to drive 5hours to Dallas then another 6hours to Houston and since Houston is the main source for fuel the gas stations are out of fuel due to everyone evacuating and can not refill cause of the oilfield being shut down in Houston. And the government won't let anyone into Texas from Louisiana because of flooding. Literally everything from Louisiana to Houston is under water. This place is heartless and only after money.

We have been here for a week, management has been pleasantly to deal with. Beautiful lake, wonderful neighbors, quite hours 10p-6a, speed limit 5mph, walking path around the lake, free wifi. Recreation room has work out area, reading area, connected to laundry room, restrooms, computer room. Our experience have been wonderful so far. However, there are some minor issues, 1 out of 3 outdoor picnic areas have no working grills and bonfire. The workout area in recreation room has 1 broken workout machine, charging station has no working android charger. This RV resort definitely deserve 5 stars after those minor issues are corrected.

Love this place! We were here for 2 weeks because I had appointments at Texas Medical Center and it was close by. Nice cement pads made it easy to level our trailer. We also had our 2 little Chihuahuas and there were even amenities for them like a free dog wash station and a fenced in dog run. The lake is beautiful and makes for a nice setting any time. The staff are wonderful and nice, very helpful with with our many questions. I give this place the highest rating available and we will be back.

We loved this RV park. The staff was friendly and courteous. The laundry facilities and shower facilities were clean and kept in good working order. Did a little fishing in the "catch and release" pond, which was fun and helped to pass the time. We felt safe and even made it through Hurricane Harvey with no problems. They said it wouldn't flood, and it didn't.

Great place. Peaceful. Tranquil. All amenities are nice and well kept.

Thanks, Marty and Nannette!

Edit: Received a call from management a day later asking for more details so they can correct the issues. We have revised reviews rating from 4 stars to 5 stars due to fast and professional response.

Edit 2: Just finished checking everything today (2 days after initial review), all issues are corrected.

The only negative is that some of the tenants with dogs choose to leave their doggy doo for others to pick up. It's really unfortunate that they feel that's someone else's job. It makes it difficult for the staff.
