Just pulling out and waited to leave before writing.
Pros: great showers and restrooms, clean park on main road, great wifi connection, cable, plenty dog bags and dog washing station. Great outdoor kitchen for general use and fire pit.
Very low-key. Other people are friendly.
Very quiet, too quite... Quality RV resorts own 13 different locations around Houston, and one in San Antonio. All Star is the first location they opened. It is not gated, office is not open on Sundays, cable TV quality is horrible, small pool with very Hot water, city water tastes and smells bad, constant smell of sewer outside, no 24hr laundry, vending machines take your money but don't dispense anything and managers won't refund your money, oldest and ugliest location they own, the sound of gunfire from all directions almost every night, and by far the most ridiculous, miserable, unprofessional managers that have absolutely no idea what they are doing or what customer service means. They have terrible attitudes, harass the guests, drive them away, complain about the dumbest things, and make you feel like you're not welcome or wanted. They act as if they're wardens of a prison, rather than managers of what's supposed to be a "Quality" RV resort. Never again will I pay $1,000.00/month to be treated like a prisoner or some piece of trash. I've stayed at .any of the quality rv locations, and I liked all of them. This experience has left such a bad taste in my mouth, I will never stay at one of quality's locations ever again, nor will any of the hundreds of sub contractors I'll have traveling into the Houston area. The worst thing they could have done was put Bert and Beth in charge of that location, or anywhere near a single customer.
Good place for short term if you want city feel and not really into camping
Cons: like living in a city trailer park. Have long term residents that don't give a hoot about appearance. You'll find washing machines, kitty litter plastic boxes, shelves of jars and green mossy campers because they can't wash their rig in the park. Got an email to clean our dog poop or charged $20, we clean our poop, including the poop that was there when we arrived. Tight parking for rigs and pure mud between many. Awwwe that's the dog wash station. We used it once then had to use a bowl of soapy water when we left to keep the mud out of the truck. We had to keep a paw wiping towel outside the door. Despite that, we had to sweep frequently and shake our rugs of clumps of mud. But let's not worry about that, just clean your poop or I'll charge you. Maybe edge the sidewalks and use mulch?? It will keep the mud off the concrete when it rains. Not many chairs sitting outside rigs, no room, no socializing, no camp feel. No room for our small grill.
Really nice great staff. Clean & neat. Loved every second of our stay. Great job everyone keep up the good work. Thank you
It was close to my daughter home, but I won't stay here again. My mistake was thinking that because it is managed by the same company as Lake View, standards would be the same. WRONG. It is NOT gated, it sits behind a car dealership, and adjacent to the highway which you hear the traffic day and night. This location is more of a residential facility and from what seen, some of the trailers/RV haven't seen any soap and water for sometime with mildew all over them. The only positive note is that they have friendly and courteous staff.
