Not really sure if you were at the 529 store. I have been by there 4 times hoping they have gotten their supplies in. Very few supplies and very few fish. One tank was super loaded with Ick. I'm very disappointed with this store. Maybe they should have kept closed until ready to open with appealing tanks. I think I'll drive to Aquarium World. Let us know when you are really up and running and I'll try your store again.
Thanks Linda Cottrell for noticing the tank with ich. Had you asked I would have pointed out that tank was a quarantine tank. Its slightly different from all the other tank. I have it in front to show customer how to treat fish for ich and just talking about to someone is not always easy many customers are visual. As many other pet store in Houston often fish comes to us from dealers with preexisting problem such as ich. I choose to educate people on natural ways to treat for ich. As soon as i can get a separate tank to show case the ich treatment I move it away from the stock area. Also as far as the stock products in my shop I am working to get new products in each week. I apologize if it seem slow by your standards. I purchased more shelves then i needed and am working to fill them. This store is new and I have had some set backs. Such as my saltwater side. The pump failed and had to be replaced at a huge personal cost. Money that could have been used to rent an apartment for my family to have a safe place to live. Also with Hurricane Harvey. I am one of those unfortunate people who lost their home in Canyon Gate flood. My family and I don't have an place to go as we don't have other family member in Houston to stay with. I and my 2 year old are living in a home that under construction. As most Houstonian who have been hit hard this year by Hurricane Harvey, I am trying my best to push on and rebuild. Your support is important and I hope you can be patient. Please ask questions and talk to me. I am more then happy to speak to my customers.
