Very good service, knowledgeable staff, and excellent shoes.
This store is a prime example of why I prefer to shop online. Allen edmond shoes are excellent but the customer service at this store is terrible.
Great and patient service. Had a bunch of simple questions that the staff was able to help me out with. My only suggestion is that if you are coming in without ever owning an Allen Edmond shoe before, avoid coming in at peak work hours. The staff is awesome but you have to meet them half-way to receive some dedicated and quality customer service.
If you decide to visit this store, please be wary of sizing advice from one of their salesmen named Cody. He's a really nice guy and very helpful, but he inaccurately fitted me for my first pair of AEs about a year ago. He recommended a 9.5 EEE on the 65 last for Park Avenues.
I was also fitted in person at an Alden retailer as an 11D on the Barrie last about a month ago. I understand that this is a different brand, size, and last than the aforementioned AEs, but the fit and comfort is significantly better. It has also served as a much more accurate baseline to use for sizing when exploring other brands and lasts.
After a few painful experiences with shoes with that size and last and after doing more research on how well-fitting shoes should fit and feel, his recommendation turned out to be very inaccurate.
Have bought two pairs here. Always friendly staff. Best shoe available
