With all that in mind we arrived and didn't have to wait long. Since is was a specail occasion we opted for the 10 course tasting menu. Every dish that came out was exceptional. The servers also let you know what every dish is and you can tell that they take pride in what is coming out of the kitchen. Also, with the 10 courses we both found the amount of food to be filling and left satisfied
Uchi is hands down one of the best sushi experiences I have ever had! The staff are incredibly friendly and more than happy to walk first-time diners through the menu and offer suggestions (including what order to get your dishes in).
Amazing food and sake. We had the 6 course tasting menu and every item on it was delicious, and it included dessert! P.s. ask for the hot sake. It's not on the menu, and it's great!
Expect not to be full.

The food was great and our waitress was awesome! We had the signature 6 course signature tasting and I'm really glad we did! The waitress explained what each course would be and recommended best ways to eat each of them to get the full flavor experience! We added 2 other extra dishes and I think we should've stuck to the 6 courses that come standard.... we were pretty stuffed (2 ppl) but they were all absolutely delicious!
We took the comments of everyone: Arrived early and expected to wait a bit - pleasant surprise was that they sent out some complimentary bites to those waiting.
Expect to spend about $100 - $150 per person.
Great Sushi place to eat at. My first time here and the waiter was very knowledgeable on each dish. He will give you instructions on how to approach eating each dish. but You have to try once if you love sushi her in Houston but get ready to take out your wallet. It is a little pricey.
The selection of sushi available was amazing... I've never seen such creative and delicious dishes at a sushi restaurant. Wine menu is also great.
Overall, one of my favorite dining experiences here in Houston. I will come back again, and tell everyone I know to try this place as well!
They even went above and beyond and brought out a second dessert that they were trying out since it was our first visit.
