FINALLY found a soul food place in TX. worth going to more than once. The food was fresh, the portions were really good and the staff was friendly. I will definitely be back!

So disappointed that this is considered Soul Food. Believe me, we know soul food. Ordered through Uber eats and when getting my food was already upset before even tasting I️t. Ordered green beans and got greens ordered northern beans and got nawlins red beans. Eating I️t was even more disappointing. The macaroni is not baked and I️t was watery and from a box. The beans should not be called nawlins beans they had absolutely no seasoning and no smoked sausage. The greens were under cooked and not seasoned. And the peppered steak is just a ground beef patty. Then the cornbread was hard crumbly and dry no moisture. I’ll stick with my regular Soul Food place. Tried to give someone a chance. Such a disappointment.
