I waa woeking in the area yesterday. My clients daughter suggested this place for lunch. I ordered ribs & brisket...OMG!!!! Big, Big, mistake!!!! I am an Ins agent and i am all over Houston and the surrounding areas.
Even though its generic look, food is really good, I had a baked potatoe with brisket, awesome taste, my wife got grilled fish, also suoer good. Reasonable price.
This is the Best bbq in TEXAS~THE POTATO SALAD MADE ME THINK I WAS BACK HOME IN MISSISSIPPI ~SO MUCH FOOD FOR A GREAT PRICE~EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE ~PROMPT SERVICE~COZY ATMOSPHERE ~I WAS PASSING THROUGH GOING TO WORK~THE BEST STOP EVER
I must honestly say thus is by far the worst BQ i have had in a mighty long time. No some taste to rhe meat..how do one grill wuthout smoking the meat??? I grill very well and if i had a restaurant in this town, i would put this place completely out of business. Horrible food! Plus they are stealing ppl monies by over pricing them for this mess. I do not mind spending money on a good meal. Its easier to pay when you are at least satisfied with your food...i asked the owner if the meat had been boiled then placed on the pit? He replied " no boo i grill the meat myself" 1st of all who referrals to a customer as BOO??? What an ignorant individual!!! I paid 19 dollors for two meats...grease full of beans and greans...keep driving WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not bother. I ask for my money back for the peach cobbler that was taken out of the freezer and give to me..what was i suppose to do with it. Take it home and microwave it before eating it??? Come on ppl....Two little rib ends...a person doesn't pay 20 dollars and mot have a whole rib on their plate. I aak for a to go box...then decided to put that mess in their thrush can...i didnt borher to take it home ....what a hor mess of a place....please do themselves a favor as well as the area....and close this place indefinitely!!!!!!!
A fly on my baked potatoe.. As soon as I entered I got a bad feeling about this place but decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. Half way I see the fly on there, I asked for a refund and he said " well that wasn't there when I gave it to you" I just laughed and said "well obviously I didn't put it their either" trust the reviews and STAY AWAY!! There are far better places than this.
Food WAS 5 star awesome, up until they let their old staff go. Now the food is different. My family and I WILL NOT be eating here AGAIN. They don't even deserve 1 star.
