I recently went to this place and found a wire in my food. Luckily I did not swallow it. The waitress dismissed it as if it was nothing and was trying to tell me it was a hardened piece of plastic that they use to clean the grill. The floor manager stops by and they try to hush it up quickly and when we left nobody bothered to apologize at all. I'm deeply disappointed with the behaviour of these people.
I am, however, puzzled by the name which recalled a period of history which saw Viet Nam as a colony of a foreign power.
I am not sure I will return to this restaurant when I am in the neighborhood.
The dishes we had were flavorful and good. The desert we had was excellent. The service was top notch. This restaurant is expensive.
Refreshingly different menu from the Houston standards in the area. Recommend getting a few different small plates to share so you can try a variety of what they offer! Downstairs is very stately and refined in both decor and clientele, a great place for a business meeting or dinner with the parents, upstairs is more energetic (aka rowdy) and perfect for drinks with friends and coworkers. Definitely a see-and-be-seen kind of place.
Best Vietnamese food around. Great upscale location.
The food is really bad. Personnel so arrogant as if they are doing you a favor serving you. Absolutely terrible place to waist your time and money. Very sorry we went twice - just to make sure, and we decided to NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN.
