I personally love this place for its authenticity and the home style atmosphere. It's as close as you can get to walking into a small place off the steet in thailand and being cooked a dish by someone who has done so everyday for most of their life. Excellent food and very affordable. Did I mention authentic?
Oh man oh man this is the best Thai food! I’ve tried many dishes here but need to keep going to try the rest. If unsure, order the customer favorites that are listed on the menu!
Great family-owned small business. About 2/3 of the space is the store, and the other 1/3 is the restaurant. Authentic, fresh, and cheap food, with a wide selection on the menu. Friends go here all the time and highly recommend; my first visit was definitely not a disappointment. :)
I used to really enjoy eating here. However, my last two times have been very disappointing! The food was most sloppy, big, uneven cuts on the veggies, under cooked shrimp ( fewer than before), not enough spice or sauce. Even the lemongrass nuggets were cold and oily. This was on Saturday, in the early afternoon. There was a small crowd and service was slow. Something has changed, new kitchen staff? I doubt I'll be back.
One of the best places to get Thai food in Houston. It has limited parking and the restaurant is literally a hole in the wall. However, the food was delicious. This place has the best crab papaya salad I've had outside of Thailand. The Tom yum soup and red curry was so authentic. If you can't handle spicy food, make sure to ask for number 1. We asked for mild on the Pad Kee Mao and it was super spicy, but we like spicy food so be cautious. It is located inside a grocery store and you actually pay at the grocery check out. We enjoyed our visit.
