I hate writing poor reviews for businesses, but I had a very bad experience with this florist. I am not local to Houston so relied on 1800flowers to order an arrangement. The first issue was the florist reported the flowers delivered when they actually were not. After contacting the company, they were delivered the next day at the last possible moment before the delivery window ended. The second issue is THEY LOOK NOTHING LIKE WHAT I ORDERED!!!! Okay, the vase is different, not a big deal, but the flowers aren't even the ones I ordered. Majorly disappointed! You could get a cheap bouquet at HEB and it would be better.
I have ordered from Ann several times and have been Very happy every time. Her flowers are stunning and unique and absolutely breathtaking.
Amazing service! I'm a little late posting this, but last year my husband and I were preparing to leave Houston to travel to Louisiana for my grandmother's funeral. It happened to coincide with the catastrophic flooding that took place in LA and we learned the day before we were supposed to leave that all of the service providers were going to be closed. So that meant no flowers for my grandma's service. I started calling florists in the Houston area looking for someone who could make a few arrangements and a half-casket spread that we could bring with us. Most places either couldn't do it on such short notice (understandably) or didn't think the arrangements would hold up for the trip. Sicola's was the only shop that was able/willing to help. They helped us pick out arrangements that would travel well and brought their team in early the next day so it would ready when we had to leave. It was a huge relief and we can't express our gratitude enough. Plus the arrangements were beautiful. I wish I had pics, but I didn't snap any on my phone.
Horrible service. I ordered flowers to be delivered to my girlfriends apartment by 1pm. I called around 3:45pm for an update and they had none but "the flowers are on their way" well it's 6:08pm. No flowers and no update. Thank you very much. Don't be the next and learn from my experience and pick other flower shop. They did this to me who's doesn't say they'll do it to you next.
The flowers I received were wilted and brown around the edges. The disappointing thing is the florist tried to convince me the flowers would open up and be beautiful. I had other women in the office look at the flowers to be sure I was not being picky. They were in agreement that the flowers were dying. Even the delivery guy said they did not look well, and he tried to tell them before shipping that they looked wilted. These flowers were for a co-worker who was retiring and this is here last day. Not good.
