Her manager Bob stepped up to the counter. I told him "please don't hate me" in a joking manor and ws shoked at his responce. He stated "Why would I get mad, you broke the item. You should be mad with yourself".
I hate leaving bad reviews. However, I do feel it is necessary to do so. So today I was returning a item that had been broken and though my expierince in this location has been fairly Easy in the past. This time it was nowhere near, today. Iwas assisted by an associate I warned about my return, which consisted of a broken glassware and I had questioned her to see if the item was able to be returned. She encouraged me to go ahead and take out the item so she can take a look at it after doing so she made a remark saying that she was going to talk to her manager and he was the man I was looking for. She was talking to him stating " you wanted us to return items so here you go I've got a good one for you today."
Then he proceeded to exam the object and tell me how he can not return my money because of the condition the item was in. Instead of practicing good customer service skills he mentioned how "there is more glassware on the shelfs on the right". I said that I'm fine which he had to respond to by saying "hey, you chose to break it" under his breath. This is the last time I have came in this location, they are very different then the store and co-company next to them Marshall's.
Like all the Marshall Home Goods stores you can get lost in decor for 2-3 hours ,This location is one of the biggest I've seen yet and I have been to nearly all of them in 80 mile radius of Houston.The photos are actual decor items I bought at this location and many others .
Fantastic store with fantastic store associates. One in particular was very helpful, but I didn't catch her name! Hopefully I will see her in the future. Bob, the manager, was not very helpful nor friendly. However, the store associate that helped me so much deserves this 5 star review! Thanks again!
Great store with staff that seems to love working there. They have a lot of stuff and great prices. It is a bit messy in the back area, but the prices can't be beat.
Nice big clean Home Goods, 1/2 price from Williams Sonoma and Bed Bath...
