A few friends and I made a road trip down to Houston TX, and on the way my 2007 jeep patriot started acting up. The oil change signal came on as well as the headlights needed a change. We decided to stop by this shop (Montrose Automotive Center) in which Abraham and his staff members took care of my car. It was right before closing time but the staff agreed to stay a little longer to help out which i could have not been more appreciative.
This shop damaged my car putting it on their lifts improperly. When I brought it to their attention, they were rude, denied responsibility, and then offered to let me pay their body shop to fix it. They are dishonest business people. As an aside, they did work very diligently trying to install a custom bike rack on my car. They were never able to figure it out, but another shop did it just fine.
These guys are knowledgeable but they will try to rip you off with unnecessary work and part replacements. I specifically asked them to confirm my diagnosis for a part and they agreed with my diagnosis but they wanted to turn a $60 AutoZone part replacement into a $1000 job. Also even though we agreed to replace the part with them they still charged a diagnostic fee, most places waive it if you get the part replaced with them. Beware!

My car broke down on 59 south few days ago. I called AAA to tow my car and they Recommended Montrose Automotive center . First the waited for me to bring the car 45 after they closed , Second thing they called me the next day 9:30 AM I spoke to Abraham and he gave me an estimate and explain the problem in detail for me . So I told him I will have to call him back . After I checked the prices he gave me with two different shops but the their estimate was the best of all . I called Montrose automotive I spoke to Abraham again and I told him to go head with the Work. It was amazing service the car was done at the same day And they came and pick me up to get my car . They fixed my car and washed it for me. I know that nobody wants to be at the mechanic shop but really I enjoyed dealing with them

I️ took my car in for an alignment and oil change. I️ woke up late on the morning I️ was taking it in and the owner drove me to work so I️ wouldn’t be late having to wait for my car. There also isn’t a good car wash right around my home so I️ was delighted when they washed it for me without me having to ask. They also buffed a piece of concrete off my car (I️ thought it was bird poop because I hadn’t washed my car in a while). Very satisfied.
