This shop is truly great. I've been using Floyd's for years now and they are ALWAYS honest and fair. Carlos is kind and extremely helpful. He treats all his customers like family. Highly recommended!
The last two times I went there it was unfortunately very frustrating. The first time or two I was there it was fine. Sometimes a little pricey and it can take a while to get your car back. But the last two times it was difficult to get information or updates. They outsourced the work both times to other places, which just translates into more car rental days for me. They kept saying that they would call and give updates and didn't. I had to call everyday myself only to get an answer that it would be another day. The most recent time I was there my truck stayed there for 5 days as I paid for a rental car. The owner left on vacation and didn't give me an update, even the service tech was confused why I didn't get an update. I eventually had to tow my truck to another local repair shop and they fixed the problem in a few hours. I can no longer recommend this repair shop.

I've taken my cars here for about 4 years. Each experience is the same. Carlos gives me a quote. It's extremely reasonable. The shop has the car for less than a business day on the type of jobs I've had done on my cars and the invoice is right around what he said it would be over the phone. This is the type of shop you can go to and shake their hand over the price, then get the work done and expect that price when you pay. Trustworthy is an understatement.
My only mechanic for years now. Weird i just walked in one day and its like we became friends. Lol..
Top notch work and service. Brought my classic car here for quite a bit of work right after buying it and Carlos even dealt with paying the transportation compay, which was certainly a time saver for me. After giving it a thorough inspection, we talked about what to prioritize and the various options, e.g. whether to rebuild current radior or upgrade and replace. Carlos did a great job of repairing the most important items (as there was other repairs that could've been made) and making sure I was in the loop. I truly believe he puts the customer first and wants to make sure they are satisfied. When I saw the final invoice, I felt like the labor charges were more than reasonable for the amount of work done, so know I got an exceptional value for quality work. Certainly a customer for life!
