The food was delicious and the atmosphere was exactly what you want from a French restaurant. We had a medium sized group for a birthday, and the birthday girl had a fun time, especially with the sparkler at during dessert. However, our server was less than stellar. He knocked over the tables bottle of wine (about half full), spilling some of the bottle and breaking another glass in the process. Instead of bringing a new bottle, the server brought only one new serving to replace the glass he broke. Also, the server mixed up our entree order, which happens and is fine, but the server had a poor attitude about it. In general, the server seemed more interested in things other than serving the table.

very bad attention on the part of the waiter and I say this because we are latinos and the waiter attended the couple who came after us for being American. Super disappointed I saw a lot of racism in that place !! I do not recommend to any Latin people so they do not feel bad, the worst place in such an excellent area !!

Something weird and very fishy happened at this restaurant tonight. So my husband, my two kids and I were sitting at the outside public area that is next to Toulouse outdoor seating. A guy was sitting next to us in the same spot and a waiter from Toulouse was serving him coffee. I asked the waiter if I can get a coffee too and he said we cannot serve you here (I guess he meant he can serve where I was sitting being a part of the public space). So the first question camrnto my mind is why he is serving the guy sitting next to us? His reply was: mam I cannot serve here! (In a very bad tone). Than I asked him again so how come you are serving this guy?? He kept repeating the same answer that he cannot serve outside. Than I said well sir you are not answering my question which is why this guy is being served and not us? He said: I don’t have to answer any of your questions and he said this with extremely bad attitude in front of my kids. I got angry and I told him that I have to go inside to speak to a manager so I can get my question answered. He walked next to me while I’m heading inside the restaurant scolding me and saying that I can ask whoever I want and he doesn’t have to answer my questions because I’m just rude (hmmm).....I spoke to the manager and I told him what happened. The manager acted very surprised as if it’s news for him and he said the waiter shouldn’t do that and he will just fire him...? (A very drastic response which I didn’t seek in the first place). I told the manager that I don’t want him to fire him I just need the waiter to apologize in front of my kids for an extremely inexplicable bad attitude. Well the manager came back 5 min later to inform me that the waiter refuse to apologize but that the that he fired him on the spot and he’s gone. Obviously my husband and I felt bad and told the manager that we don’t want him to fire the waiter we just want an honest decent apology for an extremely rude treatment from one of his employees. The manager insisted on the firing story and swore by his mom head that The waiter left and gone ( and this is the moment when I was doubting the whole story and felt like we are being played) Next thing I know the same waiter got the bill to the guy next to us with a huge big smile on his face. MY question is: if the restaurant truly consider the waiter serving someone on the city property is wrong and unlawful so how come the waiter manage to do this while the whole team including the manager are few steps away from him? So no one is seeing him breaking the law? Next how come the waiter is Abel to produce an invoice if the restaurant management doesn’t approve this action? I mean under which table number the bill is being produced and can the waiter do this solo? And most importantly where is the money going??? To the restaurant or the waiter??? Very fishy and sneaky approach form top to bottom especially when they think that they can play people off while making money unlawfully. Never ever will go there again just for the principle that I refuse to endorse this kind of behavior. Very greedy approach and what’s very disappointing that they think they can play people off to cover it....akkhhhh disgusting

This restaurant is across from Cartier at River Oaks, assumed it would be great. The menu looked good. The food was bland and pricy for the quality. Do not plan to go back.

Great atmosphere. Bistro atmosphere but with fine dining service. Great attention to detail. It feels like you're sitting on the Champs Elysees as I'm overlooking beautiful boutique stores right outside the restaurant. Dolce Gabbana along with a fashion show across the street tonight. Really hip and elegant crowd.

None of these issues are egregious, but the service was below what I would expect from this kind of restaurant.
