Wasn't satisfied with the gravy pack gravy... I'd rather gravy from scratch when eating soul food. But my plate was good. Service was good.
Well my niece and i was here as secret shopping for catering for an upcoming event. I am very impressed by quality and quantiy of the food.. I give it a 4star rating because it actually taste great... We will be back to sample more. As for now this is my first choice being that my family is from the country my food has to be on point...
Sunday 11/13/2017 afternoon my family and I went in for lunch at the greenspoint location and had a great experience. The restaurant was clean, the food was awesome, but most of all the customer service was awesome. I don't remember the ladies name but it was an older African American lady with pig tails, although she was very busy she made sure to show concern regarding our questions and was very patient with us being this was our first time coming, her smile was delightful, and her personality was delightful as well. I will b returning soon because of the food but mostly the customer service. If you're looking for some good soul food and a family environment this is the place to go.
Was in Houston for two week and was craving some good southern food. Let me tell you this place is awesome. First trip had pepper stake, potatoes, pinto beans, and mac and cheese. The helpings were so big I had to take half home. The next trip was meatloaf and yams. Again had to take some home. Go before 6:30 because they close at 8 and they will run out. Everything was great down to the kool-aid
The food was very delicious! Now this is soul food. I am not a cake person and I don't like icing but I tried the Red Velvet cake and it was unbelievable. I've never tasted cake that good. The customer service could have been better. 2 employees showed good customer service but others displayed attitudes. Everyone in my party was very satisfied with the taste of the food. We will definitely eat here again.
