Carol was recommended as the best pro shop in Houston by my college bowling coach. After visiting her shop I can say that he was correct. The first ball I bought from her she took some measurements of my hands and then drilled away. Got it right the first time. I didn't know then that other people commonly have to return to their pro shops to get the holes adjusted. She did it spot on the first time. Then to my amazement. I brought in two more balls that I acquired about 3 months later and she took them and drilled them no questions asked, no more measurements taken. Surely I thought she had to have a chart or list of customers somewhere. When I asked her about it, she just tapped her head and said, "honey I've been doing this a long time. I'm just good at it." You bet your ass she is. I'll always come back here!
Extremely knowledgable and really stand behind the products. Both Carol and Donna are top notch. The shop has a great atmosphere and you find yourself just kinda hanging out in there.
I have been to several pros shops in the Houston area. By far, Carol and her staff are the most attentive. Immediately, i knew I was dealing with a staff that truly cares about the sport of bowling and they wanted to to help me maximize my enjoyment by expertly matching my skills with the right ball! I'll never buy anywhere else again!
On March 10th 2016 I walked into Carol's Stormin Norman pro shop! I haven't bowled since 91. When I called I was asked to bring my favorite ball so they could watch me roll. Well my old ball is 40 years old, I used it when I was 17! But after a few rolls and markings they worked with me and took my new ball (birthday gift) and fitted me for a finger tip ball. My first ever! It fit so well I was able to roll 2 strikes in a row with the third being a ringing ten pen! Donna helped me with the release of this new fit and opened me up to pure joy!!! I was treated like a long lost family member and will make the drive from Sugar Land to have the other 3 balls drilled when I'm comfortable throwing a fingertip ball. Right now I'm loving it!!! THANKS Donna, Carol and Nikki you guys rock!!!
They are very knowledgeable, and they answer most if not all your questions. They have helped me and my team, by going above and beyond to help. Plus, they are great people.
