Excellent French brasserie. Great food, good well priced wine and excellent staff. What else does one want

Clean, nice and comforting "french like" place.

If you are an American who don't know what fine French cuisine is, this restaurant will be fantastic.

Never received bread, waiter was very short with us and the restaurant was extremely overbooked. People kept running into our table and my chair. The only redeeming quality of this restaurant was the food. Will not return. I can find good food elsewhere!

Summary: As I said before, when you want to try French Cuisine adapted to the mid-range American taste, you are going to find this place good. If you are looking to go back to a French Bistro and feel like if you were in Paris, go somewhere else.

The ambiance is nice enough to people watch and to hang out and be seen. However the food is far from "gourmet" it sounds fancy and it costs upscale but it's not all that. I ordered the muscles with wine sauce they were rubbery and dry, clearly not that fresh. Having not enjoyed them I did not order an entree. The service was nice, but we were rushed they hovered at our table clearing our plates before we all finished, brought our dessert menus the second they removed our dinner plates. I guess they were busy...

Onion soup: if you et more cheese than onion, is not a french onion soup. Steak, was ok. Have eaten better in Houston. The french fries on the side were a bit oily and it was served with a side of Mayonnaise and Ketchup (not really French).

Service: Great. Bravo for the guys serving there.

We went through the Houston Restaurant Weeks and we had the full dinner menu.

A-OK is all I can say about the food.

We came here several times over 2 years and we always left satisfied. Good and friendly service. Generous portion. Tasty food and nice selection of wine. It takes a while to have bread but we love how it's always warm and delicious. The only reason that we don't come more often is location from our house.

Ambient: nice atmosphere with a clean decor and nice illumination.

We had to send back the trout with almonds to the chef who admitted it was plain (mistakes can happen) but then, when I ask the server to ask the chef to send his best (I am open to try whatever he like me to and try to fall in love with his food) I get another dish which was just ok. Wasn't great.
