I called the store and talked to the "manager" and I explained to her what had happened. After a long silence she replied "what do you want me to do about it?" in a tone that indicated that she was clearly put out by having to take my call instead of offering to quarantine the tank or offer to replace the sick fish they sold us.She wasn't at all concerned that we were sold sick fish, instead she questioned me about how the fish were added and how many fish we had in the tank. Her attitude was insulting and completely unhelpful. I then asked to talk to the owner and I left a message for him to call me but three days later I have not received a call.
If I can give them more stars I would it's so clean and very beautifully organized each fish have their own section and the customer service is awesome good job guys
Beautiful selection of salt water, fresh water, pond, and or exotic fish and aquatic life. An individual or family can spend hours in this beautiful aquarium exhibit and purchase the beautiful inhabitants as well. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable on how to care for and tend to all the fish and other aquatic life. This place is a gem in Houston and all should stop in and take a peak.
I wouldn't go back there for anything, there are too many good places in Houston that sell healthy fish and care whether they are sick or not. To us, fish are pets and not an expendable commodity.
Their tanks are pretty crappy, but there are some pretty hot chicks working there and they're helpful as well.
If I could give it minus stars I would. Bought my granddaughter a 20 gal aquarium set up from this place near the beginning of September. Since a lot of the reviews I read on line mentioned leaking I wanted to get some help choosing the best set up. I looked for a long time and no one offered assistance. I had to nearly take someone by the hand to get help. Two weeks later we came back to purchase fish. My granddaughter chose two oranda goldfish which thrived . She named them Henry and George. Last week they returned to get a scavenger for the tank; a bristlenose plecostomus was recommended and they purchased two. In just a little over 24 hours the first one developed some kind of fin rot and died. They immediately medicated the water as directed but the second one became ill and died. Now Henry and George had horrible tail and fin rot which did not respond to medication and one by one they died as well. My granddaughter was heartbroken.
One of my favorite stores for two reasons, one super close to my house(and with the amount of time I spend in fish and pet stores makes it super easy and convenient) and the fish of week sales that are posted on the website every Thursday. The prices however on aquariums, stands, and equipment are outrageous in price. But the staff is wonderful, very helpful and they know their fish.
