Good place for a walk/run, parking can be tricky to find if it is the weekend or a busy day. If you want to use the baseball fields you have to contact the park to reserve & pay since they are kept locked. We have had issues in the past with reserving a specific time for events, both times the field has not been unlocked and we have had to call and wait over an hour until someone arrived.
At twice the size of New York's Central Park, this has something for everyone. A golf course, bridle trails for horse lovers, well maintained mountain bike trails that also see use by trail runners, and a bunch of sports fields ensure everybody can find something they enjoy. Or, hike deep into the woods and discover ruins of the World War I training camp, Camp Logan, hidden far away, where you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere despite being near the center of one of the biggest cities in America.

I love memorial park for all its options. You can drive there, run there or bike there. The trails and the loop are always great for a workout and/or people watching. If you also want to just zone out you can ride hard on the picnic loop(1.1mi loop) with no cars for a different kind of biking workout.
Great park with lots of trails parks and playgrounds. It also has a decent arboretum. Always a lot of people running or jogging at all times of day. Located in a prime location. A great nature spot in an urban area. Its easily accessible to many
