My favorite store for new books. As a reader of poetry and literary fiction, and intriguing non-fiction, this is the place!
The staff is very cordial. I like the layout of the store. It's really neat and orderly. The kid's section has a great selection of books.
Love Amazon when I know what I want, but Brazos is the best when I don't. I have a teenage son who is a voracious reader but has a hard time finding things that suit his taste. We always come to Brazos for him and leave with a stack of books that are perfect. I always discover something for myself too. This isn't a superstore but rather a carefully curated selection of books with a helpful, knowledgable staff that you can't find online or in a big box bookstore. Houston is so lucky to have Brazos.
Friendly staff, excellent selection and recommendations, and great atmosphere! I come here about every month or so and can't help but walk out with a whole stack of new finds. A true gem!
