Houston Hobby Airport is NOT George W Bush International Airport! Their flights are used interchangeably on some of the search websites. We wound up using Hobby when Bush International was closer to our destination, with not much pricing difference. Watch out.
Also, highway signs and even GPS were not extremely clear, even heading to Hobby from the northern suburbs at 6 am........ we were told on GPS/ Google Maps to be in right two lanes several times, and they were wrong. They were exits!!! But we left hours of extra time because we were advised to by locals. We were glad we did. And we are used to lots of traffic in Atlanta! But Houston---- wow.
My favorite airport in Houston. Small enough to not be overwhelming and big enough to fly to almost anywhere you want. Airport is clean and well maintained and the staff are friendly.
Very convenient, clean, and plenty of flight selections. New remodel really makes the place feel comfortable.
The main things I need in an airport are clear signage and plenty of outlets so that I can charge my phone and laptop. No shortage of either here. A few more food options might have been nice, but still there's enough to satisfy your cravings.
This is hands down one of the best airports I have been to in my entire life,it is very clean and the stuff is very friendly.and they have nice restaurants in the building to.The lines in the security area seem to go by very quickly, and they have a nice array of shops.
