On the borderline of Kashmere Gardens and the Historic 5th Ward, and BTW best Boudain in area.
It's very convenient and they have food here that other stores around town don't have... like fresh boudain links in different flavors.
They are Grocery store which serves hot hot meal a reasonable prices just to name a few chicken wing ,oxtail red beans rice cabbage yams etc, no complaints, even breakfast taco3
I will admit though, they occasionally have great deals on chicken and other meats. And their customer service is 4/5, very friendly but often overworked.
I love the rice. Meats are fresh, oxtail are cut and trimmed the way you want.
They prey on poor people by offering low quality/off brand items slightly below price of brand name items. Ex: off brand macaroni might be $0.80 and good brand $1.00 but the off brand stuff is so bad you write this Google review.
