This mall gets 5 stars because it USED to be a great mall. I mean, I walked around this mall with a girlfriend back in the early 90's. I don't walk around NAN mall now, that's for the younger generation. .....but I hear that it's closing soon. Who can confirm??
I haven't had any issues here. Clean nice stores. Rumors that they will tear down the mall and turn it into a shopping center. The era of indoor malls are coming to an end.
This mall has seen some much better days. Now there are only 3 stores even worth going to. It's past glory from the 70's - 80's sadly can't possibly return in it's current form. But the movie theater is top notch as well as the exercise facilities, and a few boutique item stores and the boxing club! Yes a real boxing facility for training fighters. But sadly nothing else really. It's not a ghost town but very near. Most of the places you would want to visit you don't have to even really go into the mall anymore. But if not for those very few places it can be avoided. And that's really sad for a historic mall such as it once was.
I love Greenspoint mall. They have some of my favorite stores here. It is also very local not all far out.
Can you believe Greenspoints Mall is 41 years old. We use to visit every other weekend. Buying school clothes and shoes or just hanging out. This was the place to be back in the day. I had a chance to go inside(about a month ago)and saw that a lot of stores has closed down. But Palais Royal is still there for the moment. They were holding a everything must go clearance sale.
If Palais Royal is still open, think about the holidays! (Hint, hint)
