I should note that I have been warned not to come but I feel like if Student Fees pay for this then why should I let some backwoods-whatever prevent me from what I paid for. I believe that the Klan will rise again... :)
The library is a nice place to study. The cold air helps you forget your tuition dollars flying into the president's pockets and not for your protection on the walk from the library to your car. LOL. But it's all good 1 million salary makes the school look good and not the 3 security alerts a week hehe xd. #gocoogs
Other than that, I enjoy the 6 floor the best! The have live viewing of CNN on 1st floor but lately its been on the Cooking Channel.
2 days ago on the 1st floor at UH's M.D. Anderson Library, I decided to use a computer. My computer has a virus AGAIN so I had no where to go. I was at Window 7 computer # 65 from the hours of 2pm-4pm. The was a bit of hullabaloo outside because a famous television celebrities was across the street giving away tickets to a game. There was also local news media. I was approached by a white male with a baseball cap and salmon t-shirt. He sat next to me and kept touching his penis. I was already set up doing Consumer Science homework and needed to charge my expensive phone so I did not move. I felt uncomfortable. But I felt more unsafe as I was trying to go the the bathroom and this anorexic Barbie doll kept trying to bump into me and smile and giggle when I really had to go! I walked backwards and she kept smiling and coming near but finally she scooted away. When I went back to the computer, he took off his baseball cap and left. Then he sat back down. He did not do anything else. I felt targeted. I just worry because I see small children in there and I hope this is not a predators/molester casing out the joint.
