Amazing people. I found my home for gospel .
My wife works every other weekend so when she is off we attend HNW. We have been there almost every other Sunday for about 3 years. I am a musician so I am probably overly critical of the way the praise and worship is presented as part of the service. That being said the music here is the most uplifting experience I can imagine whether I am singing along or just quietly taking it in. The musicians and vocalists are amazingly talented and seem so passionate about delivering the word through music. That alone would probably keep me coming back, but the "thing" that sets this church apart is the Pastor. I usually read the passages at the beginning of the sermon and then find myself reading on from there in the Bible while the pastor is preaching. I do not do that when Pastor Steve preaches. I find myself hanging on every word because I believe that he believes them. I wholeheartedly believe that he is anointed to preach the gospel and that is what keeps me coming back. It is not important for my wife and I to be a member of any church since that has nowadays become more like a club membership that being part of a body of believers. I will say that while the people involved in the church services seem very friendly no one in 3 years have engaged in any meaningful conversation with us. Only a friendly greeting assuring us that they are glad we came. We support the church financially because we think it is the right thing to do and we support the various missions and extra seasonal fund raising efforts because we have been blessed and feel the need to pass it on. So as long as Pastor Steve is delivering the messages we will keep coming to partake in the spiritual meal. May God richly bless this church.
Very well to be at home feeling more like Jesus was really cool to be there. Friendly staff, people.
Great atmosphere. Very welcoming and friendly.
It was a great church but now they are pushing activities outside of church by pushing members out of the church. Their focus is to "go" and create more churches as they neglect their members. Help services like divorce care and others are no longer offered. I understand the need for more churches but not at the cost of members. The drop that spilled our glass was when the church no long host Wednesday night activities to 6th graders and older. We have many friends in this church but we are now members of Champion Forest. It breaks my heart to write this post but it is all true.
