Walked in to inquire about a specific artist from Houston -- Michael Roque Collins -- I've been interested in for some time. Unfortunately, I was completely ignored. The owner/purveyor didn't even acknowledge me when I walked in. I'll be taking my business to Lewallen Gallery in Santa Fe. Very disappointing.
I hope their staffs will improve their attitudes
Redbud Gallery is a great place to see the work of new, emerging, and established artists. The owner, Gus Kopriva, has been an art supporter and dealer since the 1970s. His knowledge of modern and contemporary art, especially Texas artists and German Expressionists, is particularly noteworthy.
Rude staff and they have a bad attitude
This is my favorite gallery. They have wonderful first-Saturday openings, each featuring a different artist. Both local and global artists are represented.
