Be careful, the Jenner House stole my left arm.
Upon taking my first step into this "night club" I was instantly slapped in the face with the smell of failure. I tried the best I could to find where this failure was coming from but sadly it seemed to be excreted from everything I saw. It came from the empty fridge, the urine soaked floors, the despicable stage, the broken microphone, the ugly dome, the cluttered meat fridges, and even the people! I knew instantly that this was a place where all of Houston's scum came to meet. I left within my first five minutes of being there and a drunk Irish person called "Mark" chased my car down the block until he fell down drunk. I wouldn't recommend attending this god awful place if you have any self respect whatsoever.
I don't know what snooty Mr. Jul 2, 2010 is talking about. I went by this "jenner" and found it to be one of the very best that I've yet been to. The geodesic dome is carpeted, AND it has Christmas lights (even when its not Christmas). There have been many changes in the fuller-dome industry over the years, but I have YET to see another dome with carpet and lights. The astrodome doesnt count.
While the decor and building are not up to some peoples' standards, this eclectic gem for expression and creation gives artists the opportunity to share their works and to enjoy the poignant works of other artists. If you're not into the hippy/hipster boheme then this is probably not the place for you. Cool people, fun times, and bring your own vices!
